At Kibwezi Teachers Training College (KTTC), academic excellence is at the heart of our mission. We are committed to producing highly skilled educators who are ready to serve in Early Childhood, Primary, and Secondary education within the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) framework.
Accredited Programmes
We offer KNEC-recognized training in Diploma in Teacher Education (DTE), Diploma in Primary Teacher Education (DPTE), Diploma in Early Childhood Teacher Education (DECTE), and Certificate in ECDE, ensuring our graduates meet national and international teaching standards.
Practical Experience
Every trainee participates in mandatory teaching practice, assessed and certified by KNEC, equipping them with hands-on classroom experience.

Our programmes are offered in two modes: Full-Time and In-Service. Full-time programmes are designed for fresh students who can attend regular on-campus classes, while in-service programmes are tailored for teachers and professionals already in active service, allowing them to upgrade their qualifications without disrupting their careers. In addition, Kibwezi TTC also offers Business and Technical Courses to equip learners with diverse career skills beyond the education sector.
